It's been less than 48 hours since AMG pulled the sheets off its new Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type baiting sports car: the GT. And yet that hasn't stopped crayon enthusiasts from delving into a world of fantasy and predicting the future.
As soon as the first pics were released, graphics tabs were fired up and stylus' sharpened in a bid to conjure up a potential, range-topping Black Series AMG GT. And, by all accounts, the one above looks good.
We must stress that IT'S NOT REAL. It's the handy work of photoshopper rc82 workchop - the same man who stepped back in time to imagine how a Veyron might have looked in 1945.
Using the slightly-hotter-than-standard 503bhp and 479lb ft AMG GT S as foundation, he's grafted the best parts of what we love about the hardcore Black Series cars onto it.
Big wing? Check. Big wheels? Check. Sticky tyres? Check. Aero accoutrements and diveplanes? Check and check.. A bonfire of tyre smoke pluming off the rear wheels while sideways at 100mph? No. BECAUSE IT'S NOT REAL.
Even so, this has got our appetite well and truly whetted for a hot, hardcore Black Series GT. Now it's just a waiting game to see if Merc do it.
